I thought it might be fun to dress up the picnic table for July 4th.

I used the Tim Holtz Alterations die – 3D star to make candy dishes.

I turned the star inside out and used the inside of it to hold candies.

After coloring the back side of the stars I folded them inside out.  They needed to stand flat on the table so gluing them inside a rosette stabilized them.  The rosettes were also made using a Tim Holtz die.

I stamped some images onto watercolor paper and used Tim’s distress markers to color them.  There is space to add names so these could be used as place settings also.

This was fun to make and will brighten up my picnic table,  Enjoy your 4th.
